Applicants holding Sudan Secondary School Certificate (SSSC)

1. Pay the prescribed fee for the e-application (45 SDG) at any of the banks announced by GDA. Note that the form has a unique reference number.

2. Visit the GDA website and read the Admission Prospectus for information on higher education institutions, the programmes they offer, minimum requirements for application to specific programmes and their corresponding tuition fees.

3. Visit the admissions page and follow the application instructions.

4. Print and keep a copy of the completed form. Make sure that you indicated all your choices for programmes of study. Wait for the results to be announced by GDA. No other application forms are required for UGC.

5. Visit the GDA website and use your bank payment form number to find out whether you have been admitted to UGC. Print the information and visit the Admissions Office at UGC to register.

Applications must be submitted online to the General Directorate of Admission on their website.

Note that you may apply to more than one institution on the GDA application form. Applicants use the same application number for all institutions. Applicants pay one application fee only to GDA, regardless of the number of institutions to which they apply.

Applicants holding an Arab Secondary School Certificate (ASSC)

1. Pay the prescribed fee for the e-application (45 SDG) at any of the banks announced by GDA. Note that the form has a unique reference number.

2. Visit the GDA website and read the Admission Prospectus for information on higher education institutions, the programmes they offer, minimum requirements for application to specific programmes and their corresponding tuition fees.

3. Visit the admission page and follow the application instructions.

4. Print and keep a copy of the completed form. Make sure that you indicated all your choices for programmes of study. Wait for the results to be announced by GDA. No other application forms are required for UGC.

5. Submit your original ASSC to the Ministry of Education in Khartoum to be transferred into the respective SSSC equivalent and stamped by the ministry. In case of certificates from Saudi Arabia, applicants should also attach their abilities examination results. All candidates should submit their respective National Number.

6. Visit the GDA website and use your bank payment form number to find out whether you have been admitted to UGC. Print the information and visit the Admissions office at UGC to register.

International Applicants

5. Submit your original secondary school certificate to the Ministry of Education in Khartoum to get it transferred into the respective SSSC equivalent and stamped by the ministry. For students from Nigeria, applicants should submit scratch cards and attach a copy of their passport.

6. Visit the GDA website and use your bank payment form number to find out if you have been admitted to UGC. Print the information and visit the Admissions office at UGC to register.
